  1. 1. Humid continental climates can be found in northern part of Korean Peninsula, Northwestern China, and northern Japan. The winter in these regions are cold and sometimes snowy. The summers here are warm. In East Asia this region is humid subtropical. Like much of the northern United States of America.
    2. Compared to South Dakota we have much colder winters and warm summers.

  2. Places with humid continental climates are Northeastern China, northern Japan, and the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. Their summers are warm and their winters are cold. East Asia and Southeast Asia have a humid subtropical climate. In Hanoi, they have a good rice growing climate since in their January it is normally 63 degrees farenheit.

In wet continental climates, they are usually warm and wet. In my climate, it is usually in the summer warm or hot, and in the winter, cold. Since alll year round they have warm and hot, they are very much different from one another. For instance, my climate in the winter is cold and theirs in warm. Allowing them to grow crops and forcing us into a basic hibernation. In our summers, it is usually warm or hot, but in their summers it would be hot. They is a significant amount of differences, since they can grow something in the winter and we can't.

  3. 1. The regions that have humid continental climates are Northeastern China, northern part of the Korean Peninsula, and northern Japan. The summers in this zone are warm, while winters are cold. On the northern most island of Japan the average August temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The average temperature of January is 16 degrees Fahrenheit. Snow in this region is mostly during the months of November and April. The rest of East Asia has a humid subtropical climate. Summer temperatures are a little bit higher than the temperature of the humid continental climate, and winters are much milder. The average July temperature of Hanoi, Vietnam is 74 degrees Fahrenheit. The average January temperature is 63 degrees Fahrenheit.
    2. The wet continental climate area is kind of like the temperature of South Dakota. South Dakota normally has cold winters as well as warm summers. This is good! South Dakota is a great place to be able to grow crops in, but the wet continental climate doesn’t. That is the difference between the climate I live in than the wet continental climate.

  4. The northern part of China, the Korean Peninsula, and Japan all have the same climate. Wet continental. The humid continental climate zone has a variety of different temperatures. The summer is usually warm, but during the winter it can go to a snowy 19 degrees! Usually the islands are covered by snow from November to April.

The wet continental environment is a lot like Sioux Falls. during the spring and summer it is usually warm, but during the fall and winter temperatures can drop down to -20 degrees! burrrrrr!
